We, like many others around Wellesley, had seen the posters around town over the weekend about a missing black/gray poodle named Miso and a $3,000 reward being offered for his return. You’ll be glad to know that the little dog is back with his human and dog family now, and Fox 25 News tells the dizzying story in the video clip below.
Miso went missing on Saturday and was reportedly seen that day being thrown from a car on Rte. 9 in Wellesley. The dog was recovered by two women from Maine who happened to be visiting down here and who wound up taking the dog with them back up to Maine, where they began trying to locate his owners.

Locally, the owners had put up many posters about their missing dog, offering a $3,000 reward that they insisted on giving to the Maine women.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the Rte. 9 incident, which we have to say, sounds as if there is more to it than we know right now.
Wellesley has had more than its fair share of dog rescue stories in recent years, including local first responders displaying heroics in saving dogs from icy waters.
