
The Wellesley Society of Artists (WSA) and the Needham Art Association are jointly sponsoring an art demonstration by Robert Noreika, who will show the creation of a watercolor painting from start to finish on Thursday, May 5, at Wellesley Free Library, 530 Washington St. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the demonstration will begin at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Noreika graduated from Paier School of Art and has been a professional artist for over 40 years. He has won many national and international awards for artworks in several media, and is particularly noted for his series on aquatic expression entitled “Turtle-Esque.” His works have been included in many collections, galleries and museums, and Noreika has illustrated several children’s books and magazine articles. He also conducts classes around New England, especially in Connecticut.
