Wellesley Theatre Project (WTP) this weekend will present Footprints, a new work by its IMPACT! audition-only touring group.
The lowdown: “Ever feel like you’re not taken seriously because you’re a kid? Or do you feel like you never want the responsibilities of being a grown up? There are many challenges for kids and teens in today’s society whether it’s bullying, moving to a new school, first loves, or gender identification. Footprints, an original piece, celebrates the wonderful things about being a young adult and also addresses the challenges told first hand by students in 4th-12th Grade. The stories are told through songs, monologues, and short scenes.”
Footprints will be performed on April 30th at 7pm and May 1st at 2pm. Admission is $5. The WTP studio is located at 98R Central St. in Wellesley. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wellesleytheatreproject
