Wellesley High School’s sailing team is great on the water but they’re no slouches on land either. The student-athletes were all ready for their car wash fundraiser at Hardy Elementary School on Saturday AM when they found a yellow school bus parked right in the circle out front where the event was slated to take place.
“Frantic calls, texts and voicemails were made to school administration officials, include School Committee Vice Chair Wendy Paul, who contacted the Superintendent, and the bus was finally moved,”according to one mom involved in supporting the team. “Chants of ‘Move that Bus!’ were replaced with cheers for the bus driver.”
