Wellesley’s LINX club shares update following overnight fire

Wellesley enrichment club LINX has notified parents that the business in Linden Square sustained some water damage overnight after sprinklers put out a small contained fire in its art room kiln, which only runs when kids aren’t around. Unfortunately, the water flowed longer than desired and the lower floor of the building sustained damage (the second floor is fine).

As it turns out, the first floor damage is significant enough that the floor will be closed for at least the rest of May. The good news is that LINX has procured alternative space at 165 Linden St. (between Ace Hardware/Sleepy’s) and within Wellesley Middle School.

“As this is a fluid process (pun intended), we will continue to post updates on that page,” the business writes…
