June 4, Saturday (9-10 a.m.) – Fuller Brook Park walk
Join the Wellesley Trails Committee for a walk through an historic part of Wellesley on National Trails Day. Enjoy the park established in 1899 and designed by John Charles Olmsted (nephew of Frederick Law Olmsted and a noted landscape designer in his own right) and others. A large portion of the park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park runs roughly parallel to Washington Street along Fuller Brook and the Caroline Brook. The park is being extensively restored with most sections completed.
Meet at 9 a.m. by the parking lot at Washington and Cameron Streets.
