Morses Pond beach in Wellesley opens its season on June 8, and will be open 10am-7pm through Aug. 21, when many of the lifeguards and other staff head back to college or other endeavors.
Fortunately, the town was able to extract this hairy monster from the pond before swimmers start to enjoy the water.

Wellesley’s Recreation Department has plenty of fun stuff planned for the summer, including $1 admission for residents on opening weekend (and free watercraft use), the annual MOPO Miler open water swim on July 30 (register by July 8), and the dusk showing of the movie Inside Out on August 4.
