From the Wellesley Natural Resources Commission:
Join the discussion to protect Wellesley’s town ponds. The Natural Resources Commission is developing a Comprehensive Pond Management plan for the town ponds, supported by funding from the Community Preservation Committee. This plan will assess and prioritize immediate pond concerns and develop long-term preservation and maintenance plans for these areas. We invite you to attend one of three scheduled meetings to share your ideas on the future of these wonderful town assets. All meetings will be held in the Kingsbury Room at the Wellesley Police Station. The meeting dates, times and specific ponds to be discussed are:
June 16 at 7 p.m. (Abbott Pond, Rockridge Pond, Farms Station Pond, Reeds Pond)
June 16 at 8:30 p.m. (Bezanson Pond and Longfellow Pond)
June 23 at 7 p.m. (Duck Pond and Ice House Pond)
