Wellesley High runners rule Schofield 5K road race

June 6, 2016 by Bob Brown

Congratulations to Schofield Elementary School alum Matt Cervon, who won Sunday’s annual Schofield 5K road race in Wellesley (net time: 17:30), leading a pack of Wellesley High School runners who finished in places one through four.  Cervon runs cross country and track for WHS, and just keeps on getting faster and faster.

The first female to cross the finish line was Megan Griffith of Wellesley Hills. Full results here.

More than 425+ participants took part in the soggy Schofield race, which was followed by an indoor/outdoor fun fair.
