Winning might not be everything, but Wellesley High School’s sports teams did a ton of it during the 2015-16 season. The Boston Globe has recognized that effort by naming WHS as its Ames Division 2 Scholastic Award winner, with an overall winning percentage of 70.12. This was Wellesley’s second title in 3 years, as girls’ track, ice hockey, nordic skiing and tennis, and boys’ cross country led the way in racking up regular season victories.
Needham won honors for Division 1.
