Wellesley’s Carol Chaoui did herself and the town proud on WEEI’s Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon, sharing her optimistic and determined approach to dealing with multiple forms of cancer. Among the ways she stays positive in the face of serious health challenges is by running the Boston Marathon and other road races, including the Wellesley Turkey Trot that she spearheads. Chaoui says that by sharing her story in recent years she’s been able to connect with many other runners also fighting cancer.
