Dirk Greineder, the Wellesley allergist who is serving a life sentence for killing his wife Mabel on Halloween day of 1999 at Morses Pond, is seeking a new trial, according to Fox News 25.
A federal court appeal hearing is slated for Thursday, according to the report. Greineder has failed in several previous appeal attempts. Greineder, now in his 70s, has repeatedly sought to appeal his conviction without success.
The Greineder case has been the subject of multiple books and TV shows.
The former Wellesley home of the Greineders was torn down earlier this year.
