The Modifiers Car Club, started in 1962 by a group of high school car buddies in Wellesley and now serving car enthusiasts throughout metrowest, will be holding a show at Wellesley Community Center on Sept. 17 from 9am-3pm.
The club, whose members own classics, muscle cars and even rat rods, went dormant during the late 60s and 70s, but has since reformed and now boasts about 50 members.
Admission to the show is $2, or free for those 12 and under. Bring canned goods in exchange for up to three 50/50 raffle tickets. Food will be available for purchase, and music will be cranking throughout. Funds raised will go to local charities.
