Wellesley Choral Society is holding open rehearsals at Wellesley Free Library on Sept. 12, 19 and 26, from 7:30-9:20pm. No audition required and all voice parts are welcome.
Rehearsals are open to any interested singer of high-school age or older.
In the 2016 -2017 season the chorus will present three concerts. The Fall concert is titled “It’s All Relative…” and features music by famous composers and their lesser know relatives, who were also composers. The Winter Cabaret in February 2017 will be a “Gilbert and Sullivan Mash-Up” and the Spring 2017 concert is dedicated to choral works by Vivaldi and Ruggiero. Two professional musicians head up the group. Edward Whalen is Music Director and Hisako Hiratsuka is accompanist.
