A handful of quaint book boxes have popped up on front yards in Wellesley in recent years, and we took notice of what we think is a relatively new one at the corner of Wellesley Avenue and Southgate Road that is just too precious to believe.
Not only can you pluck a book (Poky Little Puppy, Charlotte’s Web, etc.) from the case, whose metal roofing matches that seen on the awning of the house, but you can sit down on a nice little chair adorned with a pillow and some reader-themed buttons (“Keep Calm * Read On” & “The book was better”).

Great. We have adorable little free libraries. How about we start applying these same design principles to new houses being built in Wellesley?
It is at the corner of Southgate Rd. and Wellesley Ave.
Oh duh, thanks. TSR
Well, if that doesn’t shout out ” Hi neighbor!”, I don’t know what does! Sharing the happiness!! Bravo!!
