The following is an update on the Track & Field project from the Wellesley Department of Public Works: Most of the field work relating to the track and field has been completed. The remaining work involves brick work on the ticket booths and donor wall, electric and data wiring installation, pedestrian bridge and pathway work, landscaping, paver work around the ticket booths and donor wall.
A representative from The Playing Fields Task Force earlier this month said in an email to stakeholders, “We look forward to the anticipated opening of our new facility for active use on October 22nd.
