Boston Magazine this month puts the spotlight on Wellesley’s Mark Walker, a retail fashion vet who has led the men’s apparel website called JackThreads for the past year.
“Known for its low prices on trendy brands, JackThreads is now courting the millennial shoppers who make up 78 percent of its audience with its ultra-convenient TryOuts system, launched this year,” the article reads. Rather than requiring customers to pay first and get a refund later if they don’t like what they order, JackThreads will send you a bunch of stuff to try on for a week, then you can send it back on them if you don’t like it.
Walker’s past fashion retail experience includes gigs at Gap, Levi Strauss and Rue La La.
