The MBTA Transit Police Department has confirmed that a male, around age 59, was struck and killed by a commuter rail train west of the Wellesley Square station on Thursday at about 6:20pm. The person was said to be trespassing on track 2 just beyond the Bacon Street overpass and was struck by an outbound Worcester Line train. Foul play is not suspected.
