Cradles to Crayons will be holding its 11th annual Wellesley Community Drive this year. Wellesley High School will be working specifically to collect new or gently used coats for children ages 0-14. We will be collecting for two weeks this year through November 4th. There will be a collection box located outside of the main office.
Please join us at the community wide sort, where all the donations from the whole community come together to be sorted and sent off by volunteers, on Saturday November 5th from 9:30 to 11:30 at the PepsiCo Pavilion at Babson College 231 Forest Street Wellesley, MA 02457. The Cradles to Crayons model works to provide children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. Cradles to Crayons supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. In 2015, the Wellesley Drive and Sorting Day helped +1,000 kids in Massachusetts and with the help of the Wellesley High School community we are looking to improve upon this number for 2016.
