Time to get your last-minute holiday shopping done at the RDF, as the Reusables Area closes for the season on Wednesday, 11/30. Thanks to those tables of treasures and the volunteers who keep it tidy over there, many Wellesley residents treat a trip to the dump as more of an outing than a chore. But come Thursday there will be no more tables of jolly junk to sift through.

Now a trip to the dump will underscore the monotony and routine and pointlessness of it all: the recycling to sort, the trash to compact, the yard waste to dump…oh it all just sounds so bleak and wintry.
