It’s exciting times for Wellesley Jr. Raiders Youth Football: Two teams are heading to the State Championship games on Sunday, Nov. 20.

7th grade football — 7th graders on a roll going into the weekend

The 7th grade team (9-1 on the season) coached by Andy Renzella won its semi-final game against Lincoln-Sudbury to advance to the title game vs. Shrewsbury at 2pm.

5th grade football wellesley — Stingy 5th graders: They won’t let anyone score on them

The 5th grade semi-final featured two Wellesley teams, with the unscored-upon-all-season-long 5B team coached by Rob Broggi taking the win and advancing to the title game vs. Milford at 10am on Sunday.

Both games are being played at Grafton High School.
