Every year around this time, a Charlie Brown Tree makes an appearance on the path that rings Lake Waban, a popular walking spot in town for exercisers, dog walkers, and communers with nature. This year, you can find the scraggly but sincere tree nearby the Woodland Garden art installation. Last time I checked a couple of days ago, the tree was decked with the first of what will surely be many ornaments:
