The Wellesley Unified Plan process is underway, and there are several ways you can get involved:
Chime in on the Digital Workshop
Earlier this month, more than 65 Wellesley residents gathered in the High School to discuss their views of and experiences in Wellesley, and to identify shared values in order to develop a vision and a set of goals to help guide decision-making regarding the town’s future. If you weren’t able to attend the forum, consider joining in on the Digital Workshop, the online opportunity that has been created for you to provide your input and be heard. The Digital Workshop questions ask you to think about the best and most challenging aspects of Wellesley today, and how you envision the future of the Town. Your answers will inform the process of identifying a vision and goals and setting priorities for making decisions regarding resource allocation and developing an action plan for the future of our Town. This survey will remain open until January 6, 2017.
Take the Kick-off Survey
If you haven’t yet done so, you are invited to share your views on quality of life, town services and functions, and your top priorities for Wellesley’s future in the first survey for the Wellesley United Plan. This survey will remain open until January 6, 2017.
Take the Kick-off Survey here.
Attend Neighborhood Precinct Meetings
The Town of Wellesley is creating a Unified Plan to create a vision for the town’s future. The plan will include goals and strategies for the town’s physical development and a framework for effective implementation by Town Government. This is your chance to talk about specific issues in your neighborhood and comment on a draft vision for the town. Wellesley’s 8 precincts have been divided into three planning districts made up of adjacent precincts with similar character.
