SPONSORED POST: LINX Camps of Wellesley has announced that the beautiful Regis campus in Weston will be the location for some of its summer STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) and Performing Arts camps for second graders and up. Dana Hall School in Wellesley will still host most of the programs and will remain the drop-off/pick-up location for parents.
LINX says that adding the Regis location will enable it to keep child-to-adult ratios low while taking advantage of lab, theater, recreation (pool) and other facilities at Regis. A Wellesley fixture since 2005, LINX has built its reputation on providing kids with fun after-school enrichment and summer camp learning experiences in a safe environment. Such is its reach, it’s hard to find a family in town who hasn’t enrolled their kids in one of LINX’s fun-based classes or summer camps.
Some of the offerings that make the summer-camp expansion to Regis even better are:
Science Camp: LINX science campers are led on a science adventure as they take a hands-on look at solar energy, aerodynamics, flight, chemistry, physics and much more.
Gaming App Design Camp: Campers are immersed into a world of play, graphic design, gaming architecture and app development.
Coding Camp: LINX Coding Camp mimics a software development company where the campers participate in project-based experiences.
Art Camp: At LINX Art Camp, your child will go on an adventure and explore different mediums to expand their creative imagination. Our staff introduces campers to charcoal, chalk, paint, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, and still life.
