Boy Scout Troop 182 invites boys ages 5th grade and up and their parents or guardians to its annual Open House on Sunday, January 29, at 7-8:30pm the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church. The church, where the troop holds meetings most Sunday nights, is located at 207 Washington Street near the corner of Rt. 9 and Rt. 16.
Boys are invited to enjoy pizza, drinks and snacks during the open house, which will include a Q&A session, an introduction to the Scouts and an overview of troop activities. Boys do not need to have been part of Cub Scouts to join. RSVP to paul@troop182.org.
Troop 182 was founded in 1913 and is one of the longest serving troops in all of Boy Scouts. It serves the communities of Wellesley, Newton, Dedham, Natick, Weston and more. Troop 182 is a welcoming boy-led troop that is proud of its more than 120 Eagle Scouts.
