Wellesley has a rich history of drivers smashing into homes and buildings, and another such incident was added to the list on Wednesday morning.
Wellesley Police are investigating a one-car crash that damaged a Parker Road home at about 8:15am (this is located in between Perrin Park and Reeds Pond). The driver, who reportedly crashed through the Parker Road home’s fence and into the house after backing out of a driveway on Brookmere Road, appeared to have sustained minor injuries. It’s unclear how the driver lost control of the car while backing up.
No one in the home was hurt.
