Swellesley reader CM recently passed along photos of these rocks with serious messages on them spotted around Wellesley College. I took a spin around Lake Waban looking for more but didn’t see any. Not sure if this is a random-act-of-art or something more orchestrated.

I found one of these rocks on top a fire hydrant on Cottage Street. It read, “Don’t worry about the things you can’t control.” I think it is a different fairy godmother, though. The handwriting is much better — cleaner and clearer — on mine!
