We hope all of you have Saved January 20 for Wellesley High School basketball’s annual Think Pink Night!
If you’re looking for some Friday night action, the Wellesley High School boys and girls basketball teams play a doubleheader, at 5pm (boys) and 7PM (girls), vs. Natick at Wellesley High School. All of our Varsity players will be wearing PINK socks and PINK Warm-up t-shirts in support of breast cancer awareness. Wellesley Youth Basketball players wearing their jerseys get in for free, and raffles will be held before and during EACH of the two games.
This year’s Think Pink Night will support long-time Wellesley Resident Carol Chaoui and her grassroots efforts to raise funds for Metastatic Breast Cancer Research. Carol’s goal is to raise $200,000 this year for funds directed to Stage IV breast cancer. For those of you who don’t know Carol, also known as Wellesley’s Wonder Woman, she is training for the 2017 Boston Marathon (her 9th!), the founder of Wellesley’s Turkey Trot, and mom of four. You can donate to her personal marathon fundraising page here.
GO RAIDERS!
