Salute to Jascha Heifetz featuring Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist Lucia Lin
Lin’s resume includes being a member of the Grammy-winning Muir String Quartet, quartet-in-residence at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts, as well as the piano trio, Trio Amici.
Lin will join Maestro Max Hobart and the Wellesley Symphony in a performance of Bruch’s virtuosic Scottish Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra. The Wellesley High School Honors Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Sergei Khanukaev, will join the WSO for Dances of Panama, a suite of pieces by William Grant Still. An orchestration of Debussy’s classic Children’s Corner Suite completes the program.
