With five contested races in the Annual Town Election on March 7, 2017, it’s time to focus on who’s who. On Thursday, February 16, at 8pm at the Wellesley Community Center (219 Washinton St.) Wellesley voters can meet candidates for the Board of Health, Natural Resources Commission, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, and School Committee. The event is sponsored by the Wellesley Democratic Town Committee.
Next, on Thursday, March 2, at the Wellesley Library, Wakelin Room, 7:30pm, the League of Women Voters of Wellesley will present “Meet the Candidates Night.” Candidates will greet voters informally from 7:30pm – 8:00pm, followed by formal remarks and a Q&A.
