
CANCELLED: The big news, of course, is that Thursday is a snow day for Wellesley Public schools. That’s the official word from Superintendent Lussier. So enjoy, kids, and you too, Dr. L, faculty and staff, and all special snowflakes throughout the land.
After school activities are also cancelled. The High School/Middle School Choral Step-up concert has been moved to Monday 2/13 at 7pm at WHS.
Dana Hall School and Tenacre School have also cancelled classes and activities for Thursday.
Wellesley RDF: It’s closing at noon on Thursday, Feb. 9, due to the storm, rather than it’s usual 3:45pm.

POSTPONED: The opening of the Davis Museum at Wellesley College exhibit, “The Medici’s Painter: Carlo Dolci and 17th-Century Florence” has been postponed to Friday, February 10.

POSTPONED: The Wellesley Historical Society is bumping Artifacts After Hours to March 30, 7pm, at the Community Center. The After Hours event will feature a lecture by Wellesley resident Tom Paine, a descendant of Declaration of Independence signer Robert Treat Paine. Drinks and light food will be served.
ALSO…The Community Conversation on Race with Professor Pash Obeng at WHS is not happening today. No word yet on a postponement date.
POSTPONED: Choral Step-Up Concert has been postponed to Monday, February 13th, 7pm, at the KLB Auditorium, Wellesley High School. 8th-12th Grade Choirs will be performing together on this concert as 8th graders prepare to “Step-Up” into 9th grade. Also, after school private music lessons have been cancelled for this evening (Instrumental and Vocal Extension Program=IVEP). If you take private music lessons on Thursday evenings, your teacher will contact you to reschedule.
