
A Wellesley Peace Vigil is being organized to show support for immigrants, and residents are invited to take part by putting a battery-powered candle in their front window beginning on Feb. 12. Follow the Wellesley Window Vigil Facebook page for updates.
“It’s a small gesture and could be very beautiful and poignant to symbolically offer sanctuary, show solidarity and be the light during this difficult and dark time in our country,” writes local artist Chelsea Sebastian.

To a certain extent I will support this however cannot forget all the terrorism that has happened,,Marathon Bombing, etc. A Judge just might let President Trump go ahead with his ban after all,,read the constitution! Every affordable apartment in this town goes to them unfortunately and they get immediately approved where people like us..I know someone who’s Son needed Cancer treatments at Jimmy Fund Clinic, needed an affordable apartment at Hasting’s Village. They needed to go through so much red tape and get a letter from Children’s Hospital, luckily they got the Apartment but guess who would’ve gotten it if they didn’t prove their child had cancer?? That’s right!! Sorry but there should be some limits set!!
