Massachusetts-based impressionist-realist painter Celia Judge is showing her work at the Wellesley Free Library throughout March. Her romantic view of nature, children, and life come alive through her paintings of the New England landscape, seascape, and city views.
Judge says, “With the spirit and passion of the moment, be it peace, beauty, chaos, anger, sorrow, or tumultuous energy, I attempt to create a unique expression that resonates within the viewer. My painting may also be reminiscent of a past memory or future hope, filled with my expression of sentiment based on the joy of a shared experience…”
Judge is a professional artist, currently represented in five New England Galleries. She has a BFA in Painting and Teaching from Mass College of Art. Join her for an artist’s reception on Saturday, March 11th, from 1 PM to 4 PM in the Wakelin Room.
