From the MBTA:
Due to Boston Landing Station construction in Allston, commuter rail service will be suspended between Wellesley Farms and South Station in both directions on Friday, March 31 from approximately 8:30 p.m. through the end of service.
Inbound Framingham/Worcester Line service will terminate at Wellesley Farms where passengers can connect with shuttle buses to Newton, Back Bay, and South Station. Passengers desiring outbound Framingham/Worcester Line service from South Station or Back Bay must board shuttle buses to Wellesley Farms for Commuter Rail connection. Shuttle buses will also depart from Newtonville, West Newton, and Auburndale to Wellesley Farms for outbound Commuter Rail connection. There will be no shuttle bus connection to/from Yawkey Station. Passengers should allow additional travel time of approximately twenty to thirty minutes.
A portable lift will be available at Wellesley Farms, as this station does not have a miniature high-level platform.
Customers should please note, bikes are not permitted on board during this temporary weekend service change.
