EXPLO summer programs at Wellesley offer an array of summer-fun activities

SPONSORED POST: With springtime’s early arrival to the area, the promise of warmer days feels well within reach. Have you considered your child’s summer plans yet?

At EXPLO summer programs, students are exposed to ideas and people they may not encounter at home or in school. Whether it’s designing off-road vehicles, investigating crime scenes, competing in cooking challenges, exploring medical careers, or writing an original song to perform live on stage, EXPLO at Wellesley presents students with tremendous opportunities to explore their interests and discover their passions.

Students at EXPLO choose what to explore alongside students from as close as Boston to as far away as Brazil, Korea, and Morocco. The supportive environment cultivated across programs encourages students to step out of their comfort zone and try something they’ve only ever imagined.

And exploration extends far beyond the classrooms on EXPLO’s outstanding campuses. Each day is intentionally planned to include activities and events that range from the arts to athletics to live entertainment. In addition, there are more than 20 different trips offered each weekend, including a Broadway show in New York City; Sorcery in Salem; overnights in the Berkshires and N.Y.; museums, baseball games, and more.

Offerings on the campus of Wellesley College include:

EXPLO 360: Three-week residential and day programs for students in grades 8+9. Bus transportation available for day students.

EXPLO Focus: Two-week career exploration programs for students in grades 8-10. Programs include culinary arts, orthopedic medicine, and startup entrepreneurship.

EXPLO also offers programs on the campuses of Yale University in New Haven, Conn. (for students entering grades 10-12) and Wheaton College in Norton, Mass. (for students entering grades 2-7).
