Wellesley High School’s Class of 2018 will hold its Junior Class Auction—a traditional fundraiser for seniors-to-be— on Saturday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The Back to the ’80s — Relive Your Glory Days theme will feature silent and live auctions, with food, fun, and live ’80s music from local band Grounds for Divorce. There is a $10 cover charge for the event. Some of the fabulous auction items up for bid include an early fall weekend on Martha’s Vineyard, a cooking class with Joyful Kitchen, and front row graduation seats. Student donations include babysitting, sports clinics run by varsity athletes, music lessons and more. The Junior Class is extending a special invitation to senior citizens in town to join in the fun this year. Ten percent of all funds raised at the auction will be donated to the new Tolles-Parsons Senior Center, as a way to say thank you to the seniors who enrich our community. All senior citizens may attend the auction free of charge.
