A reminder that polls will be open from 7am-8pm on Tuesday, March 7 for the annual Wellesley town election (find listings of candidates here).
Activity around the election has heated up over the past week or so, especially for the School Committee contest that involves five candidates vying for two seats. Yard signs have begun popping up across town and sign-swiping shenanigans have been reported. Physical flyers have started to fill mail boxes — and unsolicited campaign emails have drawn the ire of some residents.
If you haven’t had a chance yet to hear from the candidates, you can watch Wellesley Public Media’s recording of the League of Women Voters of Wellesley‘s Meet the Candidates Night event from March 2. One nice part of this event was recognition of those volunteers from town boards and committees whose terms have expired. As for the actual Q&A with candidates, well, that even featured a musical interlude.
Also, Sustainable Wellesley on Sunday, March 5, will be hosting….
