For their senior project, Wellesley High School students Jessica Chen and Ling Groccia came up with a creative way to spread awareness about the experiences and struggles of Asian Americans locally and beyond.
You can check out their Wellesley High School Asian Experience website and short films, based on interviews with 60 students and inspired by NBC Asian America. The films hit on topics such as stereotypes, representation at WHS and in the media, and biracial and adoption experiences.
This was excellent, and exactly what a meaningful senior project should be.
