More than 600 guests gathered recently at the Westin Copley Place, Boston in Boston for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Charitable Foundation’s 18th annual gala, raising more than $875,000 to benefit the hospital’s new Substance Use Disorder/Addiction Services (SAS).
Led by Dr. Antje Barreveld, the SAS team will provide coordinated, safe, multi-modal treatment for patients with chronic pain and substance use disorders and help patients transition to long-term care when needed while expanding clinical education and training programs for care givers.
