We got this ad in the mail today, which doesn’t bother to tell recipients which store in Wellesley offers these fabulous savings. The address is listed on the flip side, along with tempting coupons (because Wellesley fashionistas are big-time coupon clippers), but the actual name of the store is hush-hush. Guess it’s all part of the Wellesley mystique.
Wellesley mystique shattered, along with summer prices. A new mailing has been received from 180 Linden Street which now identifies the store as Denim & Soul, a Marcus Lemonis Company. The name appears on both sides, apparently to make up for….you know.
I received the first one about a week ago, and another one this week. The second one was for an address in Newton.
This is actually the second mailing. Last one was a month or two ago, similar format, no name, but up to 70% off. Maybe it’s a novel strategy to draw people to the building or maybe someone’s wasting a lot of money, doesn’t have a clue, and is disappointed with the low response.
