Babson College has announced it is expanding beyond Wellesley to Miami, Fla., with three graduate programs—including the Blended Learning MBA. The application period is open and classes are set to begin in Fall 2018.
Babson already has an accelerator called the Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab Miami and the school boasts more than 1,300 alumni in the area.
“We are excited to build on local WIN Lab momentum, further expand our role and presence in Miami’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, and bring three of Babson’s world-renowned graduate programs to professionals who want to positively impact large corporations, family businesses, nonprofits, or start their own venture,” says Babson College President Kerry Healey, in a statement.
Babson’s new hub in Miami will be located at CIC Miami (Cambridge Innovation Center)—a co-working space in the University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park.
While program specifics are still being developed, Babson graduate offerings will include:
- A Blended Learning MBA degree—this combines online classes, face-to-face sessions, and virtual collaboration.
- A Master of Science in Business Analytics degree, which provides students with the tools and analytic methods to communicate the value of data. It is delivered via online and face-to-face sessions.
- A self-paced Certificate of Advanced Management degree, which allows students to build skills and earn credits that can be applied to a future Babson degree.
Beyond Wellesley and Miami, Babson also operates in San Francisco.
