It would be a crime if you got shut out of Wellesley’s fall Citizen’s Police Academy class

The Wellesley Police Department is gearing up for its fall Citizen’s Police Academy, which runs on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm  (Oct. 4-Dec.6, except for Nov. 22). The class size is limited to 25 people, and the spring edition had a waiting list.

Participants get an inside look at police operations here, covering a variety of topics and involving numerous officers.mAt the end of the program each participant has the opportunity to ride along with an officer.
