We checked out the new Wellesley EcoCamp last week on the day local kids learned about vernal pools and fishing, but they went on to take part in a bunch of other activities throughout the rest of the week, visiting Elm Bank Reservation, Broadmoor Sanctuary, gardens at Wellesley College, and community gardens on Weston Road (oh, and drone flyingd…see video below). Here’s a look at some of the action, courtesy of the Wellesley Conservation Council, which orchestrated the camp along with the Wellesley Youth Commission and others.
