Schofield School Hurricane Harvey Helpers
The Schofield 5th grade students are collecting spare change and/or $20 gift cards (or less, but no larger than $49.99 for tax purposes) to Kohls, Target or Walmart. We are helping families who were victims of Hurricane Harvey. We are helping the the students and families of the Dickinson Independent School District through the Dickinson Education Foundation (501c3 organization), whose lives were devastated by the hurricane and floods. 91% of the residents’ homes have been damaged, their cars were flooded and the standing water led to health issues. We know there have been several devastating hurricanes that have come one after the other, but our commitment to the teachers and students of Dickinson, Texas still stands strong.
We could never imagine losing everything like the citizens of Dickinson, but we’re sure people around the country would help us. You can stop by Schofield School and drop off your spare change (in a clearly marked envelope) or mail your gift cards to:
