Wellesley High School student Luis Hoderlein is spearheading a five-week Python programming course for kids aged 12+, and proceeds from this will be used to buy computers and tablets for schools in underserved areas.
The Wellesley Digital Bridges program run by Hoderlein and fellow students aims to help bridge the digital divide between technology haves and have nots (Hear from Hoderlein in the video below).
Wellesley Community Center be hosting the coding classes on Fridays, beginning Sept. 29, from 5-6:30pm, and registration costs $195 per student. Payments are made through http://www.wellesleycommunitycenter.org/ Enter the donate button and specify Digital Bridges in the description.
