The Wellesley High School boys and girls cross country teams are sick and tired of seeing cars driving around town sea-salt sprayed and mud-caked, the remnants of summer still clinging to them. They’re going to do something about it at their yearly car-wash fundraiser. Here are the details:
Date: Sunday, September, 10 10AM to 2PM
Location: 148 Linden Street/Grignaffini Building
Proceeds go toward the Boys and Girls Cross-Country team. By the way, the boys just happen to be the reigning Massachusetts State Champions. But they’ve remained humble about it all and are still not above scrubbing hubcaps and rinsing away grime.
