Honoree Tory DeFazio

Wellesley native Tory DeFazio will be honored at the The Elizabeth Seton Residence Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility’s Annual Meet the Need Dinner, to be held this year at Wellesley Country Club at 6pm on Thursday, Oct. 19.

DeFazio will be recognized for his longtime commitment to the Sisters of Charity (Halifax) and the Elizabeth Seton Residence, as well as a long history of exemplary community service.  MC for the evening will be Wellesley’s own Kelley Tuthill, VP of Communications and Public Relations at Regis. Entertainment during the cocktail hour will be provided by the Winiker Jazz Trio, and Sunny Lee will provide piano music during dinner.  All are welcome and invited to attend.

This event will kick-off a multi-faceted development initiative that centers on ensuring Elizabeth Seton Residence has the financial means to secure a strong future for the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.  The outfit plans to double the size of its short-term rehabilitation unit from eight to sixteen private rooms by the end of the year, and has technology, safety and other improvements on tap. The Residence will be seeking funding from foundations, organizations, and individuals, with a goal of raising $1.1 million by mid-2018.
