Centennial Reservation looks pretty great from above too

Through my work with the Wellesley Trails Committee, I’ve had plenty of experience on the marked paths at Centennial Reservation, which offers some nice views and good walking terrain. But I got to experience the park in a whole new way last month with Wellesley Conservation Council‘s Michael Tobin, who took me on my maiden drone voyage there (I’ve seen others fly drones but had never flown one myself until that day).

We got out there on a hot afternoon and explored the greenery, before all that pesky foliage started to creep in. I’m also happy to report that we didn’t freak any dogs out too badly with the drone, didn’t get in the way of any golf shots and didn’t hit any cars in the parking lot during our oh-so-gentle landings.
