The third annual Great Wellesley Train Show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10am-3pm, at the Wellesley Community Center (219 Washington St.), and promises to whisk you away to a host of railroad landscapes through model train setups and dioramas.
The show will feature a variety of model train scales, including HO, O and G, the largest of the three. Look for a dedicated Thomas The Tank Engine set-up, too.
The Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiast club, a co-sponsor, will be on hand to discuss the charter trips it organizes on real trains.
The show’s roadside beacon on Washington Street will boast a large, one quarter scale, diesel engine and rolling stock replica of the Boston and Maine Railroad.
Admission to the event is free, as is parking. Food and beverages will be available as well.
