Storefronts will soon be filling up at the Wellesley Belclare retail/condo complex, with La Mia Moda Boutique becoming the latest to announce its plans to move in.
La Mia Moda, which carries women’s upscale fashions (including shoes and accessories), currently has a store in Andover. The business got its start in 2015, and boasts of having “a European touch with a New York edge.” La Mia Moda, with merchandise on its website such as the M. Patmos Riley Cable Pullover sweater ($525) and Tara Jarmon Pleated Dress ($368), plans to open for business in Wellesley next month.
Other businesses slated to occupy space at the Washington Street development are Agnes Vision and the Pucker Gallery. It remains to be seen if Belclare can also lure a restaurant to its locale, which sits across from what will soon be a Smith & Wollensky steakhouse site at the former Blue Ginger space.
